Thought I would share this with the Apple CarPlay forum members, I found it interesting:

Quote:
The developers and atendees at today's Apple WWDC keynote were treated to a sneak peek of Apple's CarPlay in automobiles parked on on the second floor landing of the Moscone West building. We saw a Chevrolet Spark EV, a Ferrari FF, and a mid-60s Ford Mustang (in Bullitt green, natch) all equipped with Apple CarPlay, and hopped in for a quick demo.

Tapping the Siri or hands-free buttons on the steering wheel brings up Siri, and she can respond to standard commands like "Find me a candy store" or "I'm in the mood to listen to Mozart." CarPlay will then bring you to the Maps or Music app, respectively. What's neat is that Siri will read new messages to you, as well as start them after looking a person up in your contacts list. The text of your message doesn't display on the screen (like on the iPhone), which reduces distractions.
